Aaron F. Ross:  About Me

I’m an artist, educator, and author. I’ve taught at the college level, and I’ve written or co-written three books on 3D graphics. Additionally, I teach accelerated professional development courses in Maya and 3ds Max. At this time I also offer personal tutoring via my training website, Digital Arts Guild.

My background is in fine art; as a youngster, I grew up in a modern art gallery. My Bachelor of Fine Art degree is from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I also hold a Master of Fine Arts from the CalArts School of Film/Video. My commercial video and animation work has been broadcast on several major TV networks, including CNN and Fox.

In my spare time, I create abstract video art, which has screened at prestigious festivals and venues around the world, such as SIGGRAPH, ISEA, and the Exploratorium.
