Aaron F. Ross:  About Me

I’m an artist, educator, and author. With 15 years of experience teaching at the university level, I’ve also taught many accelerated professional development courses, and written or co-written three books on 3D graphics. Since 2010, I've authored video tutorials for lynda.com and LinkedIn Learning. Currently, I also offer personal tutoring via my training website, Digital Arts Guild.

My background is in fine art; I grew up in a modern art gallery. My Bachelor of Fine Arts degree is from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I also hold a Master of Fine Arts from the CalArts School of Film/Video. My commercial video and animation work has been broadcast on several major TV networks, including CNN and Fox.

In my spare time, I create abstract video art, which has screened at prestigious festivals and venues around the world, such as SIGGRAPH, ISEA, and the Exploratorium.
